Vancouver Island University will be hosting Jorge Gutierrez, International Representative of CESINE Business School this month.

CESINE is a private university in Spain. Ranked as the third best school in Spain for international students, CESINE offers multiple routes for Business students to take.

Laurel Piper, a former student of CESINE, said one big draw for students is the one semester, five class Certificate in International Business Management.

Although it is a study abroad program, it is not directly through VIU. Students apply and pay tuition to CESINE.

“I really enjoyed the school as well as the culture in Spain,” said Piper.

Piper, who attended last fall, said she wants to help other students have a similar experience to hers, and give them the chance to travel around Europe while getting an education.

“They take really good care of their international students,” Piper said. “This is a great opportunity for business students.”

The presentation is on October 24 from 1-3pm in building 250, room 402. For more information about the school or presentation, contact Laurel Piper or visit cesine.com
