The end of the semester is finally upon us. I’ve ditched the doom and gloom in favour of some upbeats for you to enjoy while finishing up the last of your assignments. Here’s a proper playlist to party to when finals are over:

Diplo ft. MØ – “Get it Right”

I love both Diplo and MØ; together, they can do no wrong. “Get it Right” is sure to be the next big hit playing in every club, just like MØ’s “Lean On.”

DJ Snake ft. Lauv – “A Different Way” (Noizu Remix)

Just when I thought I was getting sick of the original, Noizu released this remix. The drop is totally unexpected and amazing.

LNDKID – “My Everything”

At first listen, I wasn’t into this song. Fast forward about thirty seconds, and you’ll catch yourself nodding uncontrollably to the beat.

Gorgon City – “Grooves on the Vinyl”

I’m a big Gorgon City fan. The boys have released a few new songs, but this is the only one on their soon-to-be new album I’ve heard so far that I really like. It reminds me of something you’d hear at a music festival, which makes me think of summer… ahh, better times.

Louis Futon ft. Opia – “Restless Sea”

Louis Futon is on fire lately. Speaking of music festivals, I hope he starts showing up at more next year as he gets bigger. I’d love to see him live.

NGHTMRE ft. Alex Wiley & Sky Montique – “No Coming Down”

This song is a little different than what NGHTMRE usually comes out with, but I’m totally digging it. If you like this, check out NGHTMRE’s SoundCloud for more recently released tracks.

Selena Gomez ft. Marshmello – “Wolves” (Vincent Remix)

I’ll admit, the original version of this song has finally grown on me. However, I heard this version a couple weeks ago, and sorry Selena, but it’s way better. Sidenote: that AMA performance… I love you girl, but your lip syncing is so obvious.

Vanic ft. Zella Day – “Wonderwall”

A remake of the Oasis classic that I can get on board with. Some songs just shouldn’t be covered or remixed, but this one is really good. Actually, everything Vanic does is great. Check out his SoundCloud for hours of great music if you’ve never heard of him before.

PnB Rock ft. Wiz Khalifa & NGHTMRE – “TTM”

NGHTMRE makes the list twice this month with this new song, “TTM”, which I finally figured out stands for Talk Too Much. I was too busy dancing to a beat you’d normally never hear on a Wiz or PnB Rock track. It’s totally working for this tune, though.

Tory Lanez – “I Sip”

Okay, this one is a little more chill, but still deserves to be on the list. In fact, “I Sip” has been on repeat in my iTunes for the last couple weeks. It’s the perfect song to play in the background while you finish the last of your assignments.
